The initial consultation is held to assess a potential client’s current situation concerning his or her possible legal matter so that the attorney can determine a plan to fit his or her unique needs and goals, if possible.

What are attorney’s fees?

Attorney’s fees are the costs associated with hiring an attorney to represent a client on their legal matter if he or she chooses to retain the attorney.

What is a Notary fee?

A notary fee is charged to provide the service of notarizing a document (i.e. having a document certified by a notary to make it authentic). A notary is authorized to perform certain legal formalities, such as drawing up or certifying contracts, deeds, power of attorneys, wills, affidavits, and other documents.

Do you charge a consultation fee?

No, the consultation for all legal matters is free.

How do i retain you as an attorney?

Once a client pays his or her initial payment towards his or her attorney’s fees, he or she has officially retained me as an attorney for the legal matter discussed in the initial consultation.

How will I be billed? How can I see my payment history?

Kingdom Mission Law Firm uses Sunrise by Lendio invoicing software to bill clients. Clients will be able to access their client portal to view invoices sent by Kingdom Mission Law Firm. Here, clients will also be able to see all payments made towards their attorney’s fees.

what payment methods are accepted?

All forms of payment methods are accepted here—from debit cards (like VISA); credit cards (such as Mastercard and Discover); eChecks; and more. Our clients are encouraged to use Zelle or LawPay—an online way clients can pay their bills, which can be found on our site.

However, if you need to make an cash payment, we still accept physical payments in-house.

Do you work with clients on paying their attorney’s fees bill?

Yes, each client is set up on an affordable payment plan that is tailored to his or her financial needs. If a payment plan is too high, clients need only contact the firm to request a modified payment plan that meets their financial budget.

What is the difference between filing fees and attorney fees?

Filing fees are what a client pays to the court to cover costs of filing documents that are submitted to the clerk of court in relation to the client’s legal matter.

Attorney fees are the cost of the legal representation service which is charged to the client for receiving legal representation from the attorney.

How are attorney’s fees calculated?

The attorney’s fee is calculated based on the type of legal matter (i.e. family, succession, etc.) and the factual circumstances surround the legal matter.
